The Runner
72"
x 48"
$8,000.00
The viewer interrupts the runner as she prepares for her run down an obscured path. We admire her strong Classical structure and envy her momentary, peaceful run through the country side. The viewer intertwines the beauty of the figure and the beauty of nature. She will gently brush aside the branches of the tree as she begins her jaunt down the path. She will respond to every twist and turn the path sets before her.

Motherhood
48"
x 36"
$6,000.00
In “Mothers Work is Never Done”, I painted an image depicting a contemporary mother and her child positioned in a classical manner. The mother, surrounded by the clutter of the day’s entertainment, struggles to hold the child in her arms. The mother retains her tender hold as the baby squirms in her arms. She keeps her composure and manages to retain her classical pose.

“Confrontation,” explores the moment in a relationship when discussion of a problem fails. The cause and solutions race through each others minds with no verbal escape. Each second of silence makes tensions grow and only enhances the problem. Even though the two people seem to have similar interests, there are subtle underlying differences. Traditional symbols and icons give clues to these differences and shed some light on the cause of the confrontation.
